Hello swedelearner; So many questions, so little space to answer... On a S7-313 you have only one time cyclic OB, OB35, so yes that is where the FB41 (PID continuous block) must be called, and the CYCLE parameter must correspond (or be a multiple of) the cycle time set for OB35 in the CPU properties. This ensures that calculations for the PID are carried out in sync with return measurements; if you do noit do this the PID will operate erratically. The rest of the program should be called either as part of, or from OB1. You can use FCs or FBs, and use DBs to store the parameters and results of calculations for your program.
