Hello, If you do not use scripts for your task, you should use them. For now, I can recommend reading the guides below. About 5 years ago I solved a similar problem based on WinCC FLEXIBLE 2008 - I wrote my own system of recipes in VBscripts (I can’t find my example if I find him, post it in the near future). But, all you need to know now is - use the VBS and you will be happy)) How on a Windows-based panel can you use a script to save and read out data in a text file? Which VBS information and VBS programming tools are there in WinCC (TIA Portal)? With SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) on a panel, how do you access process data in a file via a script? |

about: Thank you for your suggestion ill try tomorrow and update you how shall i modify the date in pdf? View manual SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic/Professional V15.1 and SIMATIC WinCC V15.1 inside is this: **************** 7 Working with reports (RT Professional, RT Advanced,Panels, Comfort Panels) **************** Here you will find all the necessary information on how to add and change the date in the reports. Once again, I repeat - it is better to use scripts for your purposes - the more so an example on the Internet that you are considering - I'm sure it uses scripts)) Just in case, print from the panel: |

I attached basic idea to do custom report, you should read those manuals posted by Unreality, but this is not probably something that comes pr to your mind right away. Thats why i post this. I would save my report to a file with a script, but you can do it without one. You need to build every line of the report on plc-program and then log those with a help of a timer or something. You can create pdf reports in given time. Report will look the way you want. You should create some template db's to hold your constant strings, if there is loads and in different languages, store them in load memory. If you choose to build your report in plc, i would suggest you to do some scripting and save files to log files and print those. No massive delays and only few lines of script.
