Hello, I have a PS 407 (S7 407-0DA00-0AA0) that needs its battery replaced. Can this be done without powering off the PSU? (No impact to the CPU) Thanks in advance. |

and trigger a call of OB81 in the user program if the "BATT.INDIC" switch in the PS is set to monitor the battery! The CPU will NOT stop if OB81 does NOT exist (good news), if OB81 does exist it couldhowever have been programmed to cause a CPU stop, so be aware of this. To be save, setthe "BATT.INDIC" switch to the "OFF" position first, and then replace the battery. To be super-save, supply 12V (from a battery) to the "EXT.-BATT" jack on your 400 CPU(just in caseyou have a mains power failure while you replace the battery. |
