Hi all! I have a complex situation with devices supply (and i am just starting to learn STEP7), so my question is - can I simulate Modbus connection on PLC SIM? In case i have a real modbus slave (connected via usb-RS485 converter) and simulated modbus master (PLC S7-1200).

if you look in the Help System of PLC Sim then you will find a Table with the possible simulatio nconnections. And with Modbus TCP non of the PLC Types does support the simulation.

You need a modbus simulation tool installed on your computer.
