can't use analog average value in simulation

dirtyseaotter Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am new to forum and relatively new to ladder. Trying to simulate a centering device project. I am enabling analog average SF004 via I1. SF004 updates to average of AI1, but the analog contact SF004 I am using on the next rung does not update Is there some issue with analog functions in simulation or am I missing something? I am just getting back to this and noticing the main difference is that you have sent the average analog to a +0 math function and used said function output for comparison where as I tried to use average analog contact. I did not think to use internal analog flag. another main difference is that your logic works in simulation would you mind explaining (like I am five) why the addition of +0 math function makes it work in simulation? also I haven't used function block much, so I am talking ladder bc it is easier thanks for help
