Dear Experts,

I have installed WinCC 7.3 successfully in my system. I have try to open WinCC Explorer its not opened. WinCC Explorer System error is displayed. Here I have attached the screen shot of the error. How to fix it. Where can I find the CCCtrls.dll file. Pls guide me.

My system configuration is Windows 8.1 64bit  operating system.

I had same problem after installing a lot of things on a server...

The path environnement variable of Windows was too long !! Over 2048 bytes, you may have some problems like PATH empty in the command prompt (echo %PATH%) and some shortcuts stopped working (remote desktop,...).

Since I remove some paths from the PATH, it worked.

the CCCtrls.dll is under the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Siemens\Bin.

Maybe you can copy that dll from another pc.

But I think you must reinstall WinCC.

Thanks for your responses. @ Garchla: Copying CCCtrls.dll under path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Siemens\Bin' and pasting it in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\wincc\Bin ' has solved this issue. 

Same error here as above with WinCC 7.5 SP2

I tested the PATH in windows, and the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Siemens\Bin" was already inside. The DLL is also available.

After a reboot was everything ok, wincc started normally.

I think I was in a hurry, and I did not do a restart after installing the update.
