Hi, There is only possibility to write your own application on linux system to sommunicate to S7 controllers. There is Simatic.NET OPC server for linux. I tried to install Step 7 and run through WINE on Linux. First prompted message during installation "requires Internet Explorer". That's when I gave up. |

Hello! Yes, communication with S7 CPUs is possible under Linux. You can usethislibrary. Should work for S7-200, 300, 400 CPUs BR, olloy

Hi! In this case you can write your program in Step7 undex virtual machine, thin just copu the blocks and download them to CPU withSnap7library, which works under Ubuntu as well. |
