Hello Adrian, from your last screenshot I can see that your CLS, your ComosLicenseServer is working well, that your Dongle has been found, that your client config file has been edited. I see in your config that the CLS-Name has been entered there: are you able to ping that PC-Name, does it answers? If not, can you ping it's IP-Address instead? If so, please enter the IP-Address into the config file (instead of the CLS-Name) and try again. Does the Client reach the CLS over the network? Which ID did your Ticket at the Support, which number does it has? It usually does not takes days to get an answer or even a solution from there. Please try this: start (without installation, only start) the debugview from Microsoft on your client; than rebuild the issue, save the log file and send it to the Support mentioning the IR number, the ticket number. Also, please send a copy of the "Data" directory of the affected CLS to the Support: you find it in the installation path of the CLS; please zip it and send it to them. By the way: a Server license, is not the same of a local one; just in case you got the wrong type for your purpose, please get in touch with the sales person/license admin which have provided you with a license file. Also, the license file is always a XML file, never a TXT file for COMOS, please make sure to use the license file, not the text file which you have received. I'm sure you will manage to solve this very fast, I'l like to help also. Hello everyone, You may see, to be sure, in the documentation of COMOS how to use a local license. But, the steps I remember for that are the following: ==> Save a copy of the (XML) license file into the "Config" directory of the installation path of COMOS itself; ==> Rename the license file to this exact name, case sensitive: ComosLicense.xml ==> Done. Easy, would you agree? Now, if you have a (local) license restricted to a particular USB-Dongle, you will have to install the driver for that dongle, it is not plug and play. To use the license, you have to keep the Dongle connected to that machine, that makes sense. Never edit the license file, as it is signed. Please remove old licenses from that Config directory, save it somewhere else. Of course, the ID of the USB-Dongle and the ID in the license file must match, must be the same; It is a letter and 3 digits, like K123 Feel free to open a ticket at the support of COMOS, in case of any further issues.
