The program you need to use is GT Designer 3

You don't have to configure anything in TIA Portal(apart from assigning IP adress of your PLC). You use usual ethernet cable.

In GT Designer you have to establish a connection. You choose CH1  in "controller settings " card

You assign an IP for GS and next, a little bit below, you have to specify the plc You use (in Your case select S7-300/400 OP). type an IP adress,which is previously set in TIA Portal and the number of station. Number of station has to be different from number of station of HMI (which is "1" by default).

And it should work

Remember that when you specify a lamp or button in Mitsubishi HMI you have to follow the rules:

1) SIEMENS M120.1 -> Mitsubishi M001201
2) if you use more than  one PLC, you must put an index of station before an adress, example:
       PLC s7-300 station3: 1-3 M001201
       PLC s7-1200 station4: 1-4 M001201
