Hello, attached the pin assignment for the SMC30, as you can see on the X521 terminal the A+, A-, B+, B- tracks (in case of unipolar signals A+ and B+, the negated signals all to the ground!) must be connected, in case of zero pulse R+, R- as well. On the X531 terminal the supply (P_Encoder, M_Encoder) must be connected, and in case of temperature evaluation temp+ and temp-. Hello, Please refer the attached sheet of X520 - encoder interface pin configuration. ( I presume encoder is connected to X620). Have you checked your encoder pin details? Is it with track R & R*?
