Dear all I am using s7300 cpu 313c2 dp plc. When i try to download the program in it, it gives the error that"Online: connection to the target module cannot be established". I have successfully programmed "s7300 cpu 314 c2dp". So there is no problem with Mpi cable. I a attaching the pictures of settings and error. Can any one help me on this one? One more thing firmware in hardware configuration reads V2.0, But on plc it is V2.0.5, Is there any problem with this? Regards Freeze

Hello, If it was programmed before it could be baudrate was set to other speed. To reset your PLC: How do you reset a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and MMC (default reset or overall reset)? It happens sometimes that you have to follow the procedure more then 1 time to succeed. Partnumber (mlfb) is the 6ES7 .... number writen on PLC and MPI adapter. Regards, Marcjan |

Thankyou but I am not using pc adapter. I have A usb/serial MPI cable. Any suggestions for that? Can MMC be programmed outside the plc? Is there any way to convert S7 program to appropriate file format to write on card? Regrads Freeze |

Hello freeze12, You said you are using: 6es7 972-0cb20-0xa0 PC-adapter USB Why you use USB-Serial convertor? (Unless you are using PC-Adapter RS232) You can program MMC, using a PG (Field PG) or External Prommer. Best regards, Wizard |
