Hi Y'all I'm trying to use the Calc function to find Cosine of angle. Ii.e Cos 45. if i use a calculator i get the answer 0.707 (deg) The PLC Cos function returns the value in Radians which I convert to Deg using( rad * 180 / Pi) but this results in the answer 29.67 If I use the Arccosine function to find angle of 0.707 it again gives me the answer in Radians but after the conversion works fine and i get 45.00?? What am I missing? Cheers.

Hi Control Boy, you totally misunderstood the cosine. First, the result of the cosine is not an angle, it's an ratio between adjacent side and hypotenuse. So you can't transfer it from [rad] to [deg], it has no unit. I hope that helps you Greetings typical
