"(D0A1) Funtion not permitted in current protection level"

Dgouvea Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	when I try to force an area of memory in "STEP 7", the following message appears: Mensager. "(D0A1) Funtion not permitted in current protection level" how do I solve this problem?

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 2/23/2021 Posts: 6713 Rating: (1288)	Dear member Protection level one is done by a keylock.If the CPU has a keylock, so the program is protected by proper postion of this lock.In RUN-P or STOP status of the CPU, you have full access to user program but in the RUN position of the key, you just have a read only access. In other types of PLCs such as AB , there is also a same mechanisem to avoid forcing parameters or change user program in RUN key position, so as a first step, check the key position be on RUN-P. regards
