Thank you very much, TIBI68! I am still processing your info, it takes time to me to understand it. It is a verydark part of the S5 program.Sorry for not answer you before. Thanks again, vperezb |

Hi vperezb, Your function regarding BS120 sets all flags and all timers and all counters to Retentive Mode eg that means they don't loose their state at power off. In Step7 this has to be parametrized in HwConfig ... hence you ought to skip that part of program. Setting BS100 to 1 means setting 1 * 10 ms as OB13 clock. This has to be parametrized in Step7 in HwConfig, either. Good luck Simaticus |

Hi TIBI68, Once I understood the info you sent to me, now I am wondering if there is someway to do the same thing over S7 than is done over S5. They used to change the retentivity bits (timers, flags and counters) by software, on some conditions. But on S7 it is done by hardware, so you can not change this configuration on the run, or can you? Is there someway to change this configuration by software? Thank you very much. |

Dear vperezb , you will need to find out the condition on which they set the retentivity. Myguess it is on system startup only.In the code you sent they switch it on only but never off, unless at some other place in the program. So in that case you can also set it in the S7 HW-Config as well. Best Regards. |
