Desigo CC v3.0 script to open external application

I'am look for an example to open for example windows notepad with a Desigo CC script. Has anybody done this or is this not possible. We have made s script to add text lines in a text file but we want to open an external editor by clicking on graphical button.

We would find this interesting too. Our client liked the add description option in Desigo insight so they could state a reason that they manualled something. If i find a solution I will post it here.

That solution only works if the users sits on the same computer tough or you have a global folder that everyone can access where you create the files.
