Does the Logo 8 offer DHCP support or only assignment of a static IP address?

Not directly. LOGO! also doesn't supoort DHCP.

However, you can always hook it up to an additional router's LAN Port and connect the additional router's WAN port to your original network.

You can then use the additional router's DHCP to get a network IP.

You can also use the Port Forwarding to redirect whichever ports you want to use to the port of the LOGO!.

e.g. LOGO! is configured to use 192.168.1.10 and Port 8080.

Your network is using subnet 192.168.2.XXX and you want the LOGO! to be communication on Port 10001.

Configure your additional Router as 192.168.1.1.

Connect your Router to LAN of the additional router, gateway set as 192.168.1.1

Configure Port forwarding on the additional router to forward port 10001 from wan to 192.168.1.10 port 8080.
