Direct access to data log using S7-1500 web server

JohannesFr Advanced Member Joined: 8/21/2013 Last visit: 11/17/2020 Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hi, I saw that it is possible to access a data log filewith the S7-1200 webserver via http://192.168.0.1/DataLog.html?FileName=MyDataLog.csv. Using S7-1500 webserver I get "404 NOT FOUND". I also tried tocopy thelink-address http://192.168.0.1/Filebrowser?Path=/DataLogs/MyDataLog.csv&RAWbut then I get "File operation not permitted - no referrer". How can I access the data log file directly? Thank you in advance.

Did you tried to access the S7-1500 web page (just the IP address), loging, and navegating to data log? Pay attention to the user/passwords in your CPU properties.

In the user/password settings I set that everyone has admin rights, so it is not necessary to log in the webpage. That means any breach of your network security opens up your plc to being stopped at any time. Hopefully your PLC is isolated from your company LAN and not running anything that can't be safely stopped by a PLC stop command.
