Display RPM on logo

Mattb001 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi I am trying to program a 0b7a to display the rpm value of a motor. i would like to take a 'sample and hold' of the incoming frequency, apply a math calculation to convert to rpm and then display this value on the logo's display with a refresh rate of 1 second. can anyone help? thanks matt

Toeternietoe Platinum Member Joined: 12/27/2006 Last visit: 3/1/2021 Posts: 1145 Rating: (100)	Yes, its easy to do. Firts count the pulses on the input to a counter. Do it 1 x per sec. With the value of the counter you make the caculation, zb x60, and reset the counter. Then you have the revolutions (impulses) per minute Attachment rpm.zip (298 Downloads)

If so could you please shed some light on how to. I’m relatively new to logo and WinCC and I have decided for my university project to control a drive via a hmi & logo

Go to Toots > Parameter VM Mapping and make the rigt settings. In this programm, thats exact the same as before i have do it for you. In WIN-CCyou can programm this value (in the varable list) and set in on your panel Attachment rpm.zip (135 Downloads)
