in the above case HOIST MAIN BOOM is getting down due to load while operating up and down.its not clear either this is due to motor holding brake or something else.also the dbr is not coming to line. i have attached the programme backup for details. So have you tried the parameter settings explained in above? What are the results? |

Do you have the Brake Resistor thermal switch connected? |

Really sounds like the brake opening time is set too long. |

Hello, In principal, in hoist application, in case of hoist movment, either up or down, before release of motor hold brake, sufficient torque should be generated in motor which will hold the load at position so that it will not fall down. So I think, in your case these parameter setting is missing. Motor torque is not present to hold the load that is how, when inch up or down operation is selected, boom falls down. Please refer the attached sheet & try to set the parameters as recommended. This should solve your problem.

the Dc dynamic brake should be synchronized with the motion control system and the feed back encoder |
