Hi Steve, I am trying to get this going as well. In "Distributed I/O System Fail-Safe Engineering ET 200S Distributed I/O System" document page 211, it states that you can use the input from the F-RO module as the feedback. It does not show up as a fail safe address but I don't think it needs to be. Hi Stevec&e, yes the Feedback must not be an failsafe value. But some wordsbelonging tothe block FB 216 first. "ON" - is the signal that comes from the process means from your program - the conditions to switch the output on. "FEEDBACK" is the feedback signal from the contactors or in your case the input from the F-RO module. "Q" is the output that switches the output of the F-DO - in your case that one that activates the F-RO I think the rest is clear. But be careful with the behaviour of the block - the off-state of the block is ON=0, Q=0 and Feedback =1 the ON-state ON=1, Q=1 and Feedback=0 the block checks if the Feedback will change its value May be you can find additional information here -> http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/12490437 chap 7.8.3 Regards |
