wagis Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Done some digging and testing but not to manage to get a solution. So correct me if I'm wrong. But the options I got is 1 run a VM and some how find correct win 10 version. Dose anyone have win 10 1703 home link or some how can provide me with it? 2 go for pirated software, that I like to avoid 3 let my child use 1000s euro of hardware as toys? After spending well above 30 hour dealing with this ***, and none the wiser. I can't see any other way. Ca anyone see a different solution?

Installed Siemens software from control panel if you cannot get any Siemens software to launch so you can look at "help -> installed software". Installed Licenses (using ALM to view / export / screenshot it). And of course, the windows version and build # (win10 home ####) and the error # from the forum topic title.

Did a few thing, not sure what done it. but write it down so if anyone else got the same problem get some tips. 1 i did update ALM to sp1. 2 Update tia to 15.4 3 i did not have transfer the license to a HD, i was using the usb for the license. moved over the license to my HD

ALM can see licenses on a USB drive, but it will not (in my experience) use a license on a USB drive. The license needs transferred to a "permanent" drive, not a removable drive. Mr_Prof was this issue solved? if yes how?
