Hello Everyone there is a plc simulator which i am building Is there any problem with the CPU & I/O Modules arrangement I am using The CPU and the Base units are arranged in the manner listed below 1. SIMATIC ET 200SP CPU1512SP-1 PN / 2. DI 16X24 VDC mounted on A0 Base unit(Light Base unit)/ 3. DQ 16x24vdc/0.5 A Mounted on A0 Base Unit (Light Base unit)/ 4. AI 4X U/I 2-WIRE Mounted on A1 Base Unit(Light Base unit)/ 5. AQ 4XU/I Mounted on A1 Base Unit(Light Base unit ) All the base units being used are light colored Base Unit, Could this be the Problem? hi plc_317, as Christoph already said, light base unit need to be configured as light base units. That means that every BU enables a new potential group.

Hi Christoph, I have changed the Base unit to light base unit the Digital Input module which is right to the CPU shows error Input output data not available CPU diagnostic Buffer says -User data Failure of Hardware components AttachmentAfter changing base unit to Light colour.zip (307 Downloads) |

Hi mops04 , Yes all the base units are light coloured , from the manual i come to know that the light coloured base unit will be used for different potentials but in this simulator i am using only 24 volts for the Digital input and digital output and 10 volts for the Analog input and output . the power supply to all the four I/O Modules is 24 volts DC
