Hello,

I'm trying to make Visualization of route between points (from point 0 to 1, 1 to 2 etc etc so the route will be visible)

Now i created UDT (TableOfReferenceVisiblity) in library of arrays[0..99] of int : XstartPoint, YstartPoint,XendPoint,YendPoint because i cant add array as faceplate property (only basic tia portal variables and UDTs)

Now when i want to connect line propert - line start x position -> i can connect it to faceplate property of basic type (int) - see attachment 1 and 2.
it changes type from int (with purple marker) to int32 - ok.


Now when i want to connect it to one of elements of my array of UDT faceplate input it is not allowing me to connect it. see foto 3

Anyone knows why? I'm working with Tia v15.1

To represent on a HMI dynamic UDT variables which are stored inside some array, take a look this

excellent example. 

You have to drag and drop your UDT from PLC Tags to the HMI project tree. On your picture inside Project library types, there has to be your UDT. Just drag it from PLC Tags and drop it there, make sure both windows are visible. This will work for sure :) 

On the right side where is property, and a name click to assign it to PLC tag and navigate to the ement inside an array, I just did it

You can multiplex arrays of UDT's in faceplates, but you cannot use arrays in faceplates. Like you wrote yo cannot use arrays in faceplate properties.

Even though it is in UDT it is still an array.

 If you did it, can you post Tia portal project?
I did everything, i have my udt in project library, this udt is as an input to faceplate, but i cannot in any way connect it to property of element.

That array inside UDT should be an UDT and than can be inserted to the HMI project library tree.

Anyway I haven't done anything more than it is showed inside link I posted before, which you have been following too. Inside it is mentioned and explained usage of multiindex same as drag and drop. Even without drag and drop you can create that DT by yourself inside HMI. 

You are not suppose to have many drag and drops, because you always need to drag and drop just UDT, there should be not so much of them in a case your data are constructed wisely
