Have u chekced motor cable?? have you magger Line cable and motor cable? Try to run drive without motor in v/f mode. If it works then replace motor cable |

I’m still struggling with the same problem. The four Sinamics drives can run without a trip for over a week and then one day they trip. We checked motors and cables. We played with many parameters and changed to V/f linear mode. It didn’t help.
We recorded the voltage and gave it to analyze. Experts claim that during trips we have voltage fluctuations but within tolerance. We run one drive on the generator – it didn’t trip. At the same time second drive was tripping. We have a lot of Micromaster drives which don’t have that problem (probably micromaster drives don’t have lot phase protection). Unfortunately you can’t buy Micromaster 110 kW drives (525 V AC) that’s why we went for Sinamics drives.
Drive is reporting phase lost. We know that is not true. It looks like drive is interpreting ripples on the dc link voltage (peek to peek 70 V which is about 10 % of nominal DC link voltage value) as phase lost. Drives are in different mcc but they are supplied from common grid.
Now I want to upgrade the firmware from V4.3 to V4.5. According to Siemens they did some improvements on that fault F30011.
Because I don’t have CF card with new firmware I want to backup all card, delete files on it and then copy files with new firmware. Is it that simple? Do I need to pay attentions for something else like licenses?
If that won’t solve a problem client wants to replace all 4 Sinamics 110 kW drives and put other make.
Is it possible to run Sinamics drive without motor? Normally when drive is not connected it will report fault? |

In one of our current project we also experiencing the same issue In our case we have used 37kw G120 PM240 along with CU240b 2. After running for 15 to 20 minutes, the drive is tripping due to F30011. we checke the line voltage. Its within the permisible limits. according to the parameter list the fault may be due to line phase failure or high ripple condent in the dc link. I have confirmed that there is no line phase failure or dip during the operation. we have tried by factory resetting and reparametrising , but those didnt help. the drive still need to be comissioned and due to this issue we are not able to commission the project. |

For G130, Please upgrade the firmware it will fix. But make sure that the firmware of the power module is also upgraded with CU. Some time when you carry out the firmware upgradation, it only upgrades the firmware of the CU. So, make sure that the power module firmware also upgraded. If the upgradation of the power module is not working. Please let me know. Or contact local Siemens. |
