Make a puls every minute Count the pulser Every minute: a: devide 965 by the counts and b: reset the counter. Look in the attachment. Notice: In Block B003 (Mathematical instruction) set OUTPUT "When Enable = "0" , output is Last value Attachment965puls.zip (486 Downloads) |

Here is a suggestion of me, which solves your problem in a different way. The time between two pulses is measured and the number of pulses per minute is calculated. AttachmentCalculation_flow_rate_(0BA8.Standard).zip (582 Downloads) |

Hi ixo Your solution works well in a small project, but the timing of the calculation block and resetting the timer in a bigger program does not work.. The resetting of the timer happens just faster than the maths block can make the calculation.. Does this make sense? Your timer only starts after the pulse is finished, so the sum is incorrect. we need START of pulse to START. So i added a rising edge AND gate, this satisfied both of my problems. #dP, did you even look at the programs? #AlanTrollip, I just kept to the specification of the topic opener at the time: Sometimes you have to adapt each solution to the required information. AttachmentCalculation_flow_rate_(0BA8.Standard)_Alan.zip (472 Downloads) |
