I think your motor will be running even after Local/Remote change over - but condition is, your Run command should not be withdrawn - so Set start command in both indices. Ok ..this logic can be implemented but there is a limitation that in local mode, remote(DCS) cannot start/stop .....and in remote(DCS) mode the local(field) can stop the motor, but cannot start. But the above logic will start the motor in both modes unconditionaly may be, am not very sure I wil check this logic once again. There is no option for cds changeover through DI's and it must be through profibus. |

I never said CDS change over is from Profibus Have a look at parameter set, I have used DI3 and DI 4 for CDS change over so its from DI only and how you want to control Start Stop? In local - how? and in Remote how? Please tell us this clear detail so I can suggest parameter accordingly Regards, Devesh Vithani |

I want to clear once again...CDS changeover is through profibus using control word bit. Suggested logic of setting ON in both CDS can work i hope, i will check it tomorow.. here i have attached the drawing for the G120 drive, it will let you to understand easily the control schematic used for one of the application type.(Take a look on the notes in the attached drawing). On both local(LCS) and remote(DCS) side , the start command is a ON pulse signal(NO), and stop command is OFF pulse.(NC) Regards Javed |

Aahhh... I completely misunderstood So Your CDS will be changed using Profibus In Local - Start will be from DI2 (Terminal - 7) - using Pulse ON command and Stop Command using Terminal 10 using Pulse NC InRemore - Start will be from DI3 (Terminal - 8) - using Pulse ON command and Stop Command using DI4 (Terminal - 16) using Pulse NC Question - Stop command will also be Pulse - NC?? I mean will it be Normally Open? or normally closed and open during Stop command only Another thing, I just looked your circuit diagram and found you have wired 24V to terminal 3 and LCS stop command to terminal 10 - Aren't this terminal for AI signal? What is the purpose of this wired Terminal 3?? Can you change and connect Terminal 17 - DI 5 for Stop LCS?? |

Ok check attached file for new parameter as you need Now in this, I have not written any value for Local Stop option because I have doubt of Its DI And also mentioned 2 cases - you can find difference highlighted I assume you are able to change CDS using profibus by making last bit of control word high Please clear my doubts in previous post for finalisation of parameters Regards, Devesh Vithani Attachmentparameters.zip (310 Downloads) |

Hi, i can't find your drawing.I would like to know one thing ,during Remote Operation : what will be the source of setpoint ,analog, fixed,Mop or Profibus Regards Ashutosh |

@Ashutosh Pl find the attachment. Setpoint for both Local and remote is through profibus using PZD2. |
