Giagnostic for Y-link and DP-slaves after him

I have topology - redundant Profibus connected to Y-link, on other side single Profibus from Y-link connected to Anybus (HMS) gateway device (Modbus RTU to Profibus DP slave gateway). I have questions : 1) Can i use SFC13 ("DPNRM_DG") for Y-link diagnostic (i use this for diagnostic ET200M)? 2) Can i use SFC13 for diagnostic this Anybus device ? Or i can read any data from Anybus via SFC14 ("DPRD_DAT") ? 3) Can i get status of Y-link by using SSL-ID 0c75 ? Regards, Eli

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 3026 Rating: (1057)	Hello Enigma you can certainly read out the Diagnostic data of Y-Link underlying DP Slaves as well as determine "simple" things like whichof the underlying DP Slaves has faulted completely, has a module fault, is ok etc. The "trick" is that all this data is read out from the Y-Link's ET200M's itself instead of directly from each underlying DP Slave (The Y-Link is oneDP Slave to the H Systems and forms a new DP Master system for the underlying DP Slaves). Have a look at chapter 13.2 of the SIMATIC Bus links DP/PA coupler, active field distributors, DP/PA Link and Y Link which contains the details of the data records and SFC's to use and note especially the SFC13 example in chapter 13.2.4.2. I hope this helps
