Hello Grim Reaper, For module 6ES7 331-7KF02-0AB0, If you select RTD measurement, you can use only 4 - channels as you mentioned. 1. As per attached document see the connection diagram. 2. Also do not forget to select the RT in HW config. Open Simatic manager and go to HW config. and double click on the module and open the inputs mask. click on the input field beside measuring type to select from a menue for each group of the four groups. Also you will have to sellect the measuring range. 3. Do not forget to put the black squares mounted in the side of the module in the correct position as mentioned in the attached data sheet and also mentioned on the module it self. 4. To read the temperature value (RT measuring type). For each group, you have two analog readings. Use the first one of the group. Hello Grim Reaper You use only every second channel when connnecting RTD's to a 7KF02 AI card. Your I/O list, S7 symbol table as well as address accessin your logic should as such look like this: (P)IW 576 RTD AI address (P)IW 578Unusuable "spare" address (P)IW 580 RTD AI address (P)IW 582Unusuable "spare" address (P)IW 584 RTD AI address (P)IW 586Unusuable "spare" address (P)IW 588 RTD AI address (P)IW 590Unusuable "spare" address As for the second issue, I could only speculate (never encounteredthis problem problem before and don't have a H-system for testing available at the moment) and hopesomeone else out therecan advise you.
