Hello Martins; 2 things I notice in your jpg: - you have set the Bipolar parameter to 1, which makes the FC105 expoect an input value (from PIW438) to be in a range of -27648 to +27648, Since your LO_Limit is 0.0, I would use a FALSE (or 0) value for Bipolar, -The input signal is presently higher than the standard expected range (a decimal value of 27648 for a PIWxxx address) so the output value is clamped at Hi_Limit, your HI_Limit parameteris setat 497.0 and your output is 497.0 What were you expecting different? What uis the maximum flow you expect your flowmeter to read? Use that numerical value as a HI_Limit value. Try setting the analog input value at different levels and see if the output changes in accordance to your input (you can use a 4-20 mA signal generator for that test). You could start by reading this FAQ: How and for which analog measurements can you use the function FC105 "SCALE" to convert the integer values (INT) into real number values? I could not understand very well the first part of your reply But about the sourcing or sinking the current, I believe in 2-Wire mode the SM is providing the current, and in 4-Wire setup the transducer is.
