HMI value to 16bit DO

Søndersø Member Joined: 11/23/2016 Last visit: 6/13/2019 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone I am trying to get values that are set on hmi to digital out as 16 bit. there is no problem to do it with a value on hmi up to 255 and move this to QB0, but that only gives me 8 bit, i have values up to 42000 so i need 16bit. how can i move "hmi_value" to use QB0 and QB1 so that i have 16bit out ? Using Simatic manager step 7, plc S7-400 Regards Ken

At the PLC move the INT to a WORD (e.g. FW100), (it's "not" necessary) Then move the Bytes to the output. Important is that you must change the Bytes. e.g. HMI value to FW100 FB101 -> QB 0 FB100 -> QB 1 regards CaOd
