You can see the Pin assignment in the file attached. There is a description of the different functionalities for each GPIO. |

Although I might be missing a point, I just want to ask: What are those GPIOs for? How would I wire for example an extern switch/button onto these ports, if the case is closed? Or are these ports designed for interaction with additional modules on the back of the circuit board? |

Hello JDarius, I'm not sure if this answers your question, but the Intel Quark Processor already has the GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) on board. Not wiring them to the board would have been a pity. The IoT doesn't have an official external connector for connecting the GPIO to the outside world, but I'm quite sure that there will be a way to make good use of 'em... ;-) Best regards, Gerard |
