Hello, Usually i work with 300's cpu and use the function U UN fp ... X OUT = OUT to create a flip flop bit. How can i do that with a 1200, i can only use XOR for word, dword etc... Thanks for your help. Frantz |

Dear member This is the set prior and reset prior flipflop functions in STL. They can be easily converted to LAD or FBD in any binary codes even if in micro controllers.check attachment for LAD equivalent.
//SET PRIOR AN #RESET A( O #START O #MEMORY ) = #MEMORY //RESET PRIOR O #START O( AN #STOP A #MEMORY ) =#MEMORT
regards |

Hello zouki STL is(for unknown reasons as far as I'm concerned) notpossiblein TIA Portal V10.5 or current S7 1200's so you can't directly take over you logic (it appears though thatimminentrelease ofV11 will bringSTL to at least the 300's and 400's but perhaps also 1200's). You also quite rightly determined that XOR is onlyavailable for Byte/Word or DWord types ifLadderis used (the same applies for the "normal' Step 7 too by the way). While you could manually program a Ladder bit based XOR, the good news isthat you have a bit XOR element available in FBD which should help implementing your toggle logic in the 1200. Attached is an example screendump of it and I hope this helps. |

hello dear Fritz. Thanks for your help, I never used the FBD... only STL or sometimes if it's easyer to understand LADDER..., It's quite special to have some functions in FBD and not in LAD... but.. thanks to you I have my issue... Thanks all Frantz |

Hi in LAD (I hate FBD;-) it could be done like this (code can be put in the FC)
