 Several ways to achieve this but it depends on how you created your picture navigation.

You could work with in internal tag(s) to store previous & active picture name, create a global script on change of this internal tag and then execute your code depending on the picture name(s)

in your opinion,use global script ,I'm not sure execute this script before leave picture .could you confirm it.
