Check the attachment for possible variable types which can be forces in S7300 and S7400.Please note, you can only modify a cell in a datablock,It is enough if it is not written from other part of program.To be sure,select the address,right click and select go to location. find more information in section 20.8 on forcing variables here; SIMATIC Programming with STEP 7 V5.5 Regards |

My CPU is CPU 315-2DP. will it support the forcing of data block? |

You can modify the DB Values in any of the S7- CPU just like Memory Variables. |

Dear kuttysk If you are sure the DB114.DBX10.2 is only written from HMI, So you can set or reset it from HMI with user authentication procedure.I am afraid you can not force a cell in Data block! Regards |
