How to generate FC or DB block with Excel

Piotr.M Platinum Expert Joined: 6/24/2013 Last visit: 2/22/2021 Posts: 1444 Rating: (351)	Hi All I use excel for bulk tasks like boring "alarm reset" where alarms are in the data block: 1. display DB as data view 2. copy/paste to excel 3. in excel use =concatenate("R ALARMS.",<Cell_With_Name) where ALARMS is db symbolic name 4. paste this to LAD editor when switched to STL and other similar stuff. rest - better to do in LAD/FBD/STL editor because it will check syntax, etc.

Hello S7-FreshMan, Thanks so much for your reply.Your attached file is very similar to what I want to do.But I check the Excel in the attached I find there's no trigger sth like a button the user can press to trigger the program to work.Could you please give me more details? thanks!!!
