Butteworth filter, first order filter what's next? I will start with FIR filter and its application in my case. Few years ago I wanted to make measuring and generator protection device for small projects where customers didn't demand high quality generator protection devices as Siemens 7UM62 or ABB Reg615. I was looking for some product with capability of sampling voltage and current with at least 10kHz. Unfortunately Siemens still didn't release something like that, so I tried this : Beckoff EL3783 Terminal It is terminal for state monitoring of a 3-phase AC voltage system with sampling rate of 20kHz. The following properties are characteristic of the EL3783:
