How to install new AI card in IM153 and its configuration in TDC side?

We are planning to install new AI card tomorrow. I have checked all connection and there are no virtual connection as name of 0071. So can I start from 0071? Does it read new AI channel one?

Yes, if E7CM06.0070 is the highest number, than you can start from 0071, but you must configure all AI inputs. If AI module have 8 inputs you should configure all 8, even if some of them are not used. 

 It means I can start from 1 number above the highest number. If my highest is 0050, then 0051 can be use. Not any other number right?

You can start from any number that is higher than 50.

 Sir two options are coming at HW configuration. I have add new AI card, now what should I do. Save and compile or Upload to programming device?

You need save and compile. Upload from TDC is not possible. 

 Save and compiled in HW configuration and virtual connection address done . Now we are going to download on card by omni E drive.
