Both CPU and IO module are working. I have a question regarding project I'm trying to build. I have connected 16 segment 1 digit display to my 1214C and SM 1223 module outputs, the idea is to use PLC as display driver to write the words letter/number by letter/number. I have made data blocks for the whole alphabet and 0-9 numbers (each of them is a combination of outputs related with certain segment of display). Can I use these data blocks to write the words, if yes, which is the simplest way to employ them for this purpose (I need an idea how to make a word and how to display them letter by letter in certain order with a certain time gap)? New question published by milos23 is split to a separate thread with the subject Is it possible to use HMI as a virtual keyboard for letters/numbers input?. Best regards |

hi milos23, it is not really clear, what your goal is. Where do you want to display your "letters and numbers"? It seems very complicated, what you want to do. I guess there is an easier way. Do you know datatype String? regards, |
