Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/3/2025 Posts: 4421 Rating: (1485)	Hi the main steps to upload a S7-1200 configuration are: 1 - Create a new project with a unspecified CPU 2 - Detect the HW (i.e. upload de HW configuration) 3 - Browser Online Access 4 - Drag & Drop the program (e.g. the directory Program Block) form Online Access to the offline Project. In the follow treads, there is cast of this procedure.

I used your steps in V11SP2. What to do in this case? D. Hello Dan 001, As mentioed in the error, uploading of block(s) created using STEP 7 Basic v10.5 is not permitted in STEP 7 v11.

RCSH Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I followed the procedure to upload. For some reason the PLC tags retentive status did not get uploaded correctly. All the tags appeared as non-retentive in the uploaded file, but in the original project 70 tags were set as retentive. In this case, keeping the retentive status is critical as they are machine parameters. Is there a way to work around this issue and make sure the retentive status is uploaded correctly?

Hello Guys, Find an FAQ on the same In STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V11, how can you download blocks from the CPU to the PG, for example, into a newly created project?
