Hello, For a Closed Loop you can have a look at: Micro Automation: Closed-Loop Positioning Control with Standard Drives (MAS 1) I have never done an Flying Saw application without a special Controller(like L&B Eco controller), because the 200 and even 300 are way to slow for the applications i use. But if your machine is not moving to fast you can try. regards, |

dear marcjan my problem is still yet this application you give me (21063595) is cuting machine with fixed cuting device .its means: production line need to stop for cuting process and continue again . but my request is:production line always continue on, and cuting machine move by any motor with product (synchronized with product speed) and cut the product then come back to home position.this is flying saw.so we need synchronize the saw cart motor with production line speed. my application same like to picture in this link :http://www.motrona.com/cutter_control_1.html in this link picture you can see the example of my machine.we need use S7-200 Instead motion controler . thank you for your support MR Marcjan.

dear william thank you for your reply and your answer. i am control manager in an pipe and profile production company.i have a many design and programming for some machine by S7-200 many years .this job (flying saw) is very important for me. in this job, if ,I use the external motion controller ,so we must be pay extra money and we have a dependence on the motion controller supplier or maker. When this application is valuable (invaluable) ,we don’t use motion controller and I use only one PLC.i am working in this project 2 month .now I write the program for this job and I connect the incremental encoder in PLC input and I have a 0-5 volt analog variable voltage in AQW0 . This program work good.but have a some problems. The program count the pulse edge from input and copy the sample in 250 ms and divide to 4.this means line speed in HZ.then my program convert and scale this frequency to analog value in AQW0.so when line speed rise up ,also output voltage goes rise up. I am program this for dc motor .because we can make movement by 0-10v in DC drive. Now I working on this program for servo drive with pulse in out put. I will attach the my program.please download my program and tell me your idea . if you like,i can take a video from my test project on the 2 motors,and send you. Thank you for your time for this job.
