For the I-Device the only limit is the maximum process image. Be careful for the update timer on the network.

Hello, first you should check if you S7-400 support the I-Device Feature. Look in this list: Then if you will assign the i-Device to more then one controller yoiú must use the Regards |

The I-Device is shared with maximum 2 PLC. However with one PLC you can read some difference I-Device, depending of the I/O image |
