Hello Cumulus!! I want to syncronize my redundant server pair with my clients. Do I really need to activate the "Syncronize over system bus" when all I want is to synconize over Terminal bus? I was hoping that all I neede to do was to activate the "Syncronize via Terminal bus (Slave)) on all clients... Splitted from Time synchronization of server and client wincc station. |

Hello Phantom75!! I have read through the documents you mentioned and I have the following settings on the WinCC red. servers (v6.0) and the clients (see submitted picture). There is a 10 min. delay in the time between the clients and the servers, but the servers are in sync. Should I use the "Use time from a specific computer" and point to the servers, on the clients instead? Man this really bugs me, it should suppose to be simple... :-) AttachmentTimeSync.zip (184 Downloads) |

No, Actually, I suggested to use the windows date&time sync feature available by default. |

Regards I use VNC to remote program/configure the different client OS residing on the differen panel PCs, like setting up the time syncronisation on the different client OS.
I have submitted the three pictures of my settings. I erased the project name because of IP, sorry. I might believe there is a mismatch between the "Server data loading (server package)" position on disk and where the client OS project resides on disk. This is not clear for me, the whole concept of server package\standard server\server data settings. AttachmentDesktop.zip (99 Downloads) |
