IM153-2 unable to find in Simatic Manager Hardware Catalog.

A9K Bronze Member Joined: 6/1/2010 Last visit: 2/14/2021 Posts: 152 Rating: (1)	Dear, We already purchased Remote I/O of IM153-2 (6ES7153-2BA02-0XA0) for communication with S7 416-2DP (6ES7416-2XN05-0AB0) & CP443-1[1]. But during taking online with PLC in simatic manager we are unable to configure it into Hardware because this Remote I/O is not available into catlog. Note: We updated the hardware catalog in V5.5. - Need your support to configure it properly. Thanks and Regards ANIL PAWAR

I believe this part number is available since Step 7 v.5.5 SP4. If you do not have this exact version (but use v.5.5) then you might find a HSP that contains it. if you have Step 7 v.5.4, and you do not want to upgrade, you can try using a previous version of that IM 153-2 (without newer functionalities) in your projects Profibus configuration. Show us the contents of your Profibus Catalog (for IM 153-2) and we could help you select the appropriate model, Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
