I have been using 840DSL V4.5 in which the parameter MD18362 $MN_MM_EXT_PROG_NUM default value =1. My customer requirement is to run 2 EXTCALL programs at a time in the same channel.

I have been trying to increase the same but its not getting increased, its says invalid value or not authorized.

Kindly help me in the same.

Maybe I've missed something but how do you run two programs in one channel even without using extcall.

Running two programe in single channel without extcall is by running an .spf program in .mpf .

the same way our customer wants to run both program by using extcall.

e.g.

Main.mpf (created in external drive)

drill.spf (created in external drive)

in Main.spf

if i call the above way it gives the error as stated previously.

Sorry I should have looked at the machine data and realised it was just subroutine nesting.

I have a Sinutrain package and it lets me change the values no problem. The parameters 18360 and 18362 only set up a memory area for buffering the external programs. If 18360 is till set to 30 change it to 100 and see if cures the problem.

i have set 18360 to 100, but still the problem is existing. I think i should increase 18362 from 1 to 2 which might resolve my issue. but i system is not authorizing me to do so.
