Is there a special function to restart/reset a LOGOprogram

I was wondering if there is a special function in the LOGO software that can reset all the flags and outputs and timers, counters etc. This is necessary if there`s a mechanical failure in the middle of the program so the program can be restarted; it has to start over again at the beginning of the program when a reset button is pushed. There`s another possibility: a flag can be attached to all the reset-entries of all the blocks that need to be reset but I find this to disordered. Is there anybody who knows if there is such a special function or method to restart/reset the whole program? (even when it`s not at its end) grtz Bruno

But if you are using LOGO OBA7, you can create your own function called UDF for your alarms/faults handling. Regards,

I dont know if it is possible for the LOGO to cut it`s own powersupply? In this way he resets himself. (If you let an output of the LOGO control the relay that breaks contact to the powersupply of the LOGO) -Can it damage the logo if you cut it`s powersupply frequently? -Is it possible to program a master program that resets/restarts a slaveprogram? Let`s say coil Q1 is further part of Yours program. Operator must push button once to run process ( you may add another contact to "power on" switch), and after mechanical failure he must prress it twice once for stop process, and second time to start it once again.
