Dear Chetan If follow the formula for reative power equation which is kVAr=1.73VISinX where X=sin(inversecosx),here cosx is the power factor. Now obtaining kVAr for PF @ 0.95 will your kVAr requirement

Dear Ankur here is the new one kW=516 * 0.8 = 412.8 now
1. tan (36.87)= 0.75 {Cos Inv (0.8) = 36.87 deg} 2 .tan (18.19)= 0.32 {Cos Inv (0.95) = 18.19 deg} SO KVAR required to raise PF 0.8 to 0.95 will be kVAR=kW * Multiplying factor =412.8 * (0.43 ) {for multiplying factor 0.75  0.32=0.43} = 177.8 say 200 KVAR.

you can use a digital controller reactive power compansator to control the amount of capacitors should be connected to the load to raise the reactive power
