Yes, there is no battery module for LOGO!8. As all retentive data is buffered without a module and even the clock is buffered typically for 20 days, it’s normally not needed. If you need a valid clock all the time, you have to prevent the power fault, e.g. with UPS (uninterruptedpowersupplyunit). |

Thanks for your support As I understand from your statement the internal clock can be kept correct up to 20 Days if the power supply is off. For a longer period we must use UPS |

On the main board there is a small ultra capcitor , these own will keep the memory and clock running. |
