Hello: I have a similar problem, but this problem appeared after two years running. I change all the profinet wires and the switch. I think change the parameter P2040 to increase this time, but I cannot access to tis parameter. I try it with expert level (p3=3) but the parameter is not accesible. Can I change this parameter? and, will this parameter solve the problem? I also look for the parameter P8840 but I don´t find it in my G120C converters. Thank you for your support ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

I configure that in the profinet communications configuration from the PN master. In TIA Portal for example, the default is 3 in a row update failures generates a diagnostics fault from the PLC perspective. Are you wanting to set it from the drive's perspective? If you want to slow it down, you can always "cheat" and on the PN master, increase the clock update until it brings you happiness.
