Well sort of. The manual wiring diagram shows the - (+) DC power to 56 - terminal 57connected to the receiver (+) signal input - a resistor across the receiver's signal inputs (+) and (-) With a frequency input batch controller (Fluidwell 410) I got a Mag 6000 to work with the inputs labeled 'active input' with resistances between 1100 (two 2.2K in parallel) and 1500 ohms. Earlier versions of the Siemens manual stated a low limit of 2K ohms, which cost me a day of hair pulling when it wouldn't work. The latest Siemens manual has a corrected range of resistance. The Fluidwell 410 batch controller will also run OK when its 'NPN signal input' connections are used with no resistor. - 56 is connected to 'signal' - 57 is connected to common ground My sketches of the two wiring setups that worked are attached. Different frequency input devices use different terminology and wiring. Caveat Emptor. Your mileage may vary. Please post what works for you and in so doing, you'll double the amount of publicly available information on the Siemens Mag 5000/6000 passive frequency output ! !
