i want to give you a hint regarding a quiet frequent appearing problem. It is about CSD Teleservice. Why can´t i connect via Teleservice to my Station although i am absolutely sure that on my RTS (Remote Teleservice Station(PLC+Modem+MAS5)) and my LTS (Local Teleservice Station(PC/PG/Notebook+Modem/Phoneline+MicroWIN)) is configured correctly???? Reason 1: You think everyhting is configured correctly?? Check it again!! :-) Reason 2: To make your RTS accept the Teleservice requests from your LTS the call needs a DATA identifier. The DATA identifier can be falsifies by (a) the provider (b) your locald phone-installation (e.g. isdn-installation) The first step to get rid of this problem is to identify the problem. This is something you can do on the RTS side with a special AT command. It is called "AT+CRC" "Set Cellular Result Codes for incoming call indication". Please refer to the AT-Command set of your used GSM Modem. E.g. TC65T So connect any PC with free COM port to the Modem assigned to the RTS. Use Hyperterminal to enter "AT+CRC=1". (Attention: It´s reset to 0 after power-off/power-on). Dial from the LTS your RTS and have a look to hyperterminal. There should be a "RING" command which indicates the telephone call and a more detailled information about the type of telephonecall. VOICE= voice call, REL ASYNC= data call, ..... Now you ca be sure, if the identifier of the phone call is imparted properly from the LTS thrue the phone-devices and also thrue the provider to your RTS. -Lif |
